Boston Bathtub Boys can refinish bathroom and kitchen sinks just as we do tubs and showers. We recommend bathroom sink refinishing for homeowners who want to update their porcelain, cast-iron, ceramic, and other kinds of sinks without having to completely replace the fixture.
Sink refinishing Boston can restore the beauty and strength to your bathroom sinks by repairing chips, scratches, and other surface damage, as well as giving sinks a new coat of paint in whichever color you choose.
We can refinish, resurface, and reglaze any type of sink, from traditional countertop bowls and drop-ins to classic farmhouse styles and more.
We can also refinish kitchen sinks, but because of the wear and tear these sinks take on daily, the finish may not last as long as it would on a bathroom sink.

Tub and sink refinishing is an excellent option for bathroom sinks that are in decent shape, but have minimal surface imperfections. To refinish a porcelain sink, we buff down the top layer all the way down to the liner where we can then make repairs. After fixing scratches, cracks, and chips, we apply the paint. The result is an updated bathroom sink that looks brand new.
Resurfacing and sink repair is a more involved process that is best suited for bathroom sinks that have deeper damage and deterioration. For porcelain sink repair, we buff down all the layers to the liner where we then repair the damage. We fill in cracks, chips, and holes, then smooth everything out so that the sink is left with a base surface that allows us to apply primer and paint evenly. Although it is more difficult to resurface a sink than it is to a tub or shower (due to the smaller size and angles of the sink), we can still get the job done quickly, cleanly, and affordably.
A sink in poor condition with many damaged layers will benefit from sink reglazing. Tub and sink reglazing is an intensive process that requires the use of chemicals and expert technique. Most sinks have multiple fine layers etched into them that must be stripped down before any repair takes place. After stripping these layers, our technicians will fix deterioration and damage, then apply primer, protective coating, and paint. Reglazing is an ideal option for sinks with sentimental value, antique sinks, and cast-iron bathroom sinks.
